How usage works
Each plan includes monthly usage for chat and core features. Heavier work — advanced reasoning, Jayd, image creation, and video — draws from your included usage first.
If you reach your plan’s ceiling, you can add extra usage with a clear monthly spend limit. Optional auto-reload is available on supported paid tiers. Checkout runs through Stripe. We describe everything as usage and extra usage — not separate balances labeled as credits or tokens.
Adjust limits anytime in Settings → Usage. Open Usage settings

Monthly spending limits help you stay in control. You can raise or lower your cap, pause extra usage, or use unlimited mode where your plan supports it.

FAQ
▸Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Upgrade anytime; downgrades follow your Paddle subscription rules. Your profile updates automatically after checkout.
▸What happens right after I pay?
We’ll bring you back to Bonita and sync your plan. If it takes a few seconds, you’ll see a “syncing” state on Billing — no need to pay twice.
▸Do you offer education pricing?
EDU is $10/mo for verified students and educators — more included usage, faster responses, and room to add extra usage when you need it. Sign up with your school email and choose EDU at checkout.
▸Is my data safe?
Billing runs through Stripe — card details never touch our servers. Bonita only stores your plan and usage to keep the experience fair.
▸What if I reach my included usage?
Paid plans include usage each billing cycle. If you reach your plan’s limit, you can continue with extra usage and set your own monthly spending limit — including an unlimited mode where available.
